Hirocoin Hardfork

We will be hardforking to a new client. The client source can be found here https://github.com/OmarxGx/Hirocoin .

I would highly appreciate it if your exchange would update to the newest client. I can promise high exchange volume in the coming week as I have had talked to investors who were looking to buy in as soon as the hardfork was performed.

Hi,

The hardfork should occur roughly between Sept 21st and Sept 22nd.

You can upgrade the client by deleting the current block chain. Remember to keep the wallet.dat file though. You would then git clone from the new source https://github.com/OmarxGx/Hirocoin

Compile the new daemon and you should sync to the current chain. At block 285,550 the old chain will be rejected by the new client so make sure you upgrade before then.

The hardfork will be changing the block reward from a static 400 to a value between 40-400. It depends on network hashrate now.

Hi,

Please git pull from the source I provided and it will include the fixes. Start the daemon with the -reindex option and you should be synced to the correct chain.
